Heinrich Köllisch is a lawyer of the Dubai based Legal Consultancy firm Meyer­ Reumann & Partners (M&P), which operates a network oflaw offices throughout several states in the Midd e East since 1983.

Heinrich is a German-qualified lawyer. Since 2016, he is licensed as a Legal Consu tant with the Ruler's Court in Dubai. He also holds a magister artium (M.A.) degree in the field oflanguages, history and culture of the Middle East. He speaks Arabic fluently. During his studies, he spent several semesters in Tunis, Tunisia, studyingIslamic studies with a focus on sharia in Arabic, providing him with an insight into the traditionallegal and normative structures of Arab countries and societies.

He worked with law firms in Dubai, Tunis and with an international aw firm in Frankfurt with a special focus on Islamic finance. Currently, Heinrich works with M&P in a number of legal fields, in GCC countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia and also Oman. Heinrich's special view on several jurisdictions in the GCC area gives him the ability to put VAT legislation into a regional context.
