Organ donation from deceased now legalized in UAE
Organ donation procedures in the UAE must be in accordance with Law No. 15 of 1993 Regulating the Transfer and Transplant of Human Organs, Ministerial Decision No. 566 of 2010 on Implementing the Regulation of Federal Law No. 15 of 1993 Regulating the Transfer and Transplant of Human Organs and Unified Guide to Organ Transfer and Transplant in the GCC. The law prohibits trafficking of human organs. Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi is the only authorised organ transplantation centre in the UAE. Read article...

Beware, new UAE traffic rules take effect this July
Maj. Gen. Mohammed Saif Al-Zafin, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police for Operations Affairs and Chairman of the Federal Traffic Council, confirmed that the ministerial decision No. 178 of 2017 on the rules and procedures of traffic control and the new traffic violations and fines are set to be implemented by July 1, 2017. Suspension of Emirates Services to Qatar
As instructed by the UAE government, Emirates will suspend its flights to and from Doha, starting from the morning of 6 June 2017, until further notice. Introduction of Abu Dhabi's wills registry for non-Muslim expats
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, has issued a resolution to create a registry of wills and probate for non-Muslims in the emirate.
