Alessandro Gugolz, Swiss national, graduated from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, with a final law degree (lic.iur./Masters) in 2001. He received also a degree in forensic law studies from the University of Luzern, Switzerland, in 2005.

Background
Alessandro Gugolz worked as legal counsel in law firms in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. He worked also at the court and as a military investigation judge in Switzerland. Since 2008 he works as a legal counsel in the Sultanate of Oman. He has been involved in international legal issues such as international business transactions, contract law, intellectual property law, commercial law.
Alessandro Gugolz’s basic functions related to Muscat are:
- Managing the office in Oman of Meyer-Reumann & Partners and to take care of all administrative functions and the development of the office in Oman;
- Serving all clients of the Oman office in the full range of legal services of Meyer-Reumann & Partners in general and taking care of all Oman related cases of the clients of Meyer-Reumann & Partners in particular;
- Supporting, developing and strengthening the commercial ties of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, Italy, and other important commercial partners of Sultanate of Oman;
- Marketing and promoting Meyer-Reumann & Partners in Oman;
- Organizing, supervising and participating as speaker in seminars and workshops on legal and commercial topics of Sultanate of Oman;
- Updating Omani Laws, Rules and Regulations and develop the joint Meyer-Reumann & Partners Legal Databank in particular by integrating Omani legal documents.
