Profile
Daniela Catto’, Italian national, graduated with distinction at the Faculty of Law of “Universita’ degli Studi di Milano”, with a specialization on Constitutional Law and Trade Law. She specialized in the Civil Code and Commercial Law at “Universita’ Cattolica” in Milan and attended 2 year legal course for judge exam leaded by Prof. E.Galli in Rome. She passed the Italian bar exam in 2000.
She joined Meyer-Reumann & Partners’ Italian Department in 2010.
Languages: Italian (native), English (fluent).
Background
Prior to joining Meyer-Reumann & Partners, Daniela was practicing as lawyer advising small and medium northern Italian companies on Commercial Law, Real Estate Law and Law of Contract (2002-2010). From 1997 to 2002 she was working in a major international law firm in Milan where she focused her practice on Trade Law and business Law.
Daniela Catto’s basic functions related to Abu Dhabi and the Italian Desk are:
- Advising local and foreign Italian Clients on setting up companies, LLC’s, representative offices and branches in the United Arab Emirates including the Free Zones
- Drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating commercial and corporate contracts
- Advising Clients on real estate disputes and Tender Law claims
- Advising Client on the UAE Commercial and Company’s Law with particular reference to the Commercial Agency Law
