Background
Prior to joining Meyer-Reumann & Partners, Yaqoob Al-Oufi has started the career in the legal profession as a lawyer – under training – in June 2007 at the office of Mohamed Ibrahim legal consultants Muscat. From June 2008 to February 2010 he was working in MOCI as a legal auditor in the legal department, where he focused his activities on the procedures to establish companies, incorporation contracts of all kinds and procedures relating to trademarks.

Yacoob Bin Salim Abdullah Al-Oufy’s basic functions related to Muscat are:
- Drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating commercial and corporate contracts;
- Advising international corporate clients on setting up of companies in Oman;
- Coordinating legal procedures at Oman courts;
- Dealing with any Arabic language documents.
