Mariem Al-Ssayrafi joined Meyer-Reumann & Partners in 2017 during her legal clerkship and started to work as a Lawyer just after her admission to the German bar in 2018 at Meyer-Reumann & Partners. As a Senior Lawyer she is heading the Offshore Department today. Furthermore, she is focusing her expertise on the areas of corporate and commercial law, company set-ups (mainland and Free Zones) and corporate structuring. Her professional experience also covers the areas of family law, succession planning and she is also a registered Will Draftsmen with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) since 2018.

Since being awarded as Will Draftsmen she successfully registered numerous wills for international clients. Mariem’s native language is German, she is fluent in English, has good written and oral skills in French and possesses basic skills in Arabic.


Mariem Al-Ssayrafi’s journey in law started in 2010 when she started studying at the Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen. After passing the first state exam in 2015, she started her legal clerkship at the Nuremberg Regional Court and also worked for the Public Prosecution Nuremberg and the Government of Midfranconia.

The time of her mandatory lawyer station she spent at a German law firm focused on advising small and medium-sized enterprises on all legal and tax matters for corporate and asset management activities.

In July 2017, she joined Meyer-Reumann & Partners as the last station of her legal education before being admitted to the German bar.

  • Advising international corporate clients on setting up of companies in the United Arab Emirates including the Free Zones and Offshore.
  • Advising clients on corporate restructuring, such as carve outs, mergers and acquisitions
  • Registered with the DIFC Wills Service Centre in the Register of Wills Draftsmen.
  • Consulting on all legal and commercial aspects.
  • Handling the Offshore Department of Meyer-Reumann & Partners.
  • Specialist for UAE and German family law and Inheritance law as well as UAE probate matters.
  • Supporting clients in civil dispute litigation matters in the UAE.
