Since July 2021 Christine Baltzer-Zacharias is supporting Meyer- Reumann & Partners from Munich and serving as contact in Germany in her position as Senior Lawyer. Her German and international clients benefit from her more than 25 years of professional experience in the MENA region. Her areas of expertise focus on foreign direct investment, cross border joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and the establishment of effective corporate law structures for local as well as regional activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the MENA region and are supported by various legal publications in German and English language with reknown legal publishing houses.
Her key areas of practice are Commercial and Corporate Law, Commercial Agency Laws, Intellectual Property Law, Private International Law and Conflict of Laws, with a specialization in the Middle East and the Laws of the States of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Her activities also focus on supporting business start-ups in the free trade zones as well as in the national territory.
Christine’s native language is German and she is fluent in English.
Christine Baltzer-Zacharias worked for a German law firm based in Dubai since her admission to the bar in 2000 up to and including 2007. From the end of 2007 until mid-2020, she worked as senior counsel for an international law firm specialized in the Mena region in Munich and Dubai, focusing on general commercial and corporate law of the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
