Sonya is a multi-skilled UK qualified lawyer with an interest in spreading awareness of matters affecting individuals. In particular, she is keen to help people take early preventative steps to protect their wealth from various risks and provide for their loved ones.

Sonya obtained her law degree and professional qualifications in London, United Kingdom (UK). She qualified as a Solicitor and was admitted to the Law Society Roll in 2001. She is also an accredited Mediator and a STEP Affiliate Member.
Since qualifying Sonya has gained varied experience across several practice areas and her experience to date includes contract drafting, dispute resolution, insurance law, personal injury and more recently Wills, Trusts and succession planning, pre and post nuptial agreement. She has specialist up-to-date knowledge of UAE Wills including Abu Dhabi and DIFC Wills.
Prior to joining Meyer-Reumann & Partners Sonya worked in general practice firms in her home country, has worked as in-house Counsel in an insurance company and headed their legal department. She also founded and has successfully run a couple of businesses.
