Tarek Jairwdeh has been working with Meyer-Reumann & Partners since 2010. He obtained his Law degree at Damascus University’s Faculty of Law. His extensive experience in Intellectual Property and Real Estate has enabled him to specialize in a variety of Intellectual Property and Real Estate services.

Tarek’s native language is Arabic, he is fluent in English and possess basic written and speaking skills in German.

Background

After graduating from the Faculty of Law and obtaining his legal license, he became a member of the Bar Association in Damascus. During his studies, he trained and worked at several law firms in Damascus to gain practical legal experience. Tarek joined Meyer-Reumann & Partners in 2010. His particular area of specialization was in general legal consultancy and in advising and executing matters related to trademark and patent registration and research as well as Real Estate services.

Tarek’s journey with Meyer-Reumann & Partners started with him being a legal consultant in 2010, the Head of the Intellectual Property Department in October 2011, Senior Lawyer in May 2014 and became the Head of Real Estate in 2015.

TAREK JAIRWDEH’S WORK FOCUSES MAINLY ON:

  • Handling the trademark and patent registrations of Meyer-Reumann & Partner’s clients in the GCC and Middle East.
  • Supervising the entire process and ensuring the final registration certificates are issued.
  • Observing annuity and renewal deadlines and conducting the related procedures.
  • Communicating with the clients, their attorneys and regional TM agents for registering trademarks and patents in those countries.
  • Consulting on all legal and commercial aspects.
  • Providing assistance with any Arabic documents, correspondences, issues and matters.
  • Handling all of the documents required at the Land Department for any legal and governmental procedures.
  • Assisting clients with various governmental approvals required with respect to Real Estate and Property transactions.
  • Assisting clients with finance related matters with respect to cancelled property developments.
  • Assisting clients with all real estate disputes includes landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewal, tenancy disputes and disputes between investors and developers.
